Cutting-edge RNA Vaccine Design and Production Technologies in Aragon

mRNA vaccines are a powerful tool in the fight against infectious diseases and have broad potential in medicine and biomedical research. mRNA technology has great potential in terms of speed of development, flexibility, safety, effectiveness, and versatility.

The primary goal of this initiative is to develop and implement a pioneering technology for the design, assessment and production of our own vaccines, with RNA and lipid nanoparticles as the central element. A pioneering project in Spain, it aims to establish a comprehensive platform to facilitate end-to-end vaccine development for combating infectious diseases, both in human and animal health, as well as developing new advanced therapies to fight cancer.

This project is co-funded by Government of Aragon within the framework of the programme of grants for enterprises to carry out experimental development and/or industrial research projects in the pharmaceutical sector in Aragon in 2021.
