VIASURE by Certest collaborates in the XII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Tropical Medicine and International Health.
On May 11th and 12th, the XII Meeting of the Spanish Society of Tropical Medicine and International Health (SEMTSI) will take place at CaixaForum Zaragoza, where Certest, through its molecular biology unit, VIASURE by Certest, is one of the main collaborators.
Vector-borne infections have always had a significant impact on public health in tropical countries and, even today, beyond them. Concern for these types of diseases is growing to the point of being considered a global threat.
This year’s meeting theme, “Emerging vector-borne diseases”, will allow all attendees to update their knowledge, exchange experiences, and learn about the latest developments in the field through clinical, epidemiological, and theoretical approaches, addressing topics such as tick-borne diseases, arboviruses, prevention and vaccines, climate models, and the risk of infection resurgence in Spain, among other subjects.
VIASURE offers a comprehensive portfolio of diagnostic solutions for tropical diseases, including Zika, Dengue, Chikungunya, Yellow Fever, West Nile Virus, and Malaria, among many others. It provides a complete solution to enhance workflow in the molecular diagnostic laboratory, offering high sensitivity and specificity in detecting genetic material from the pathogens responsible for these diseases.
