VIASURE Cryptosporidium, Giardia & E. histolytica Real Time PCR Detection Kit for ELITe InGenius® is an automated in-vitro diagnostic test designed for qualitative detection of Cryptosporidium, Giardia lamblia and/or Entamoeba histolytica in human faecal samples from patients with signs and symptoms of gastrointestinal infection.

This test is intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis of the Cryptosporidium, Giardia lamblia and/or Entamoeba histolytica in combination with clinical and epidemiological risk factors.

The assay is validated in association with ELITe InGenius®, an automated and integrated system for extraction, amplification, and detection of nucleic acids. DNA is extracted from faecal specimens, multiplied using Real Time amplification and detected using specific primers and a fluorescent reporter dye probe for Cryptosporidium, Giardia lamblia and/or Entamoeba histolytica.
