Certest collaborates in the project of the Believe in Art association, within which the presenter and comedian Andreu Buenafuente has painted murals that decorate the rehabilitation service of Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona.

Believe in Art, an association born in Zaragoza, aims to bring art to public hospitals. Art is a source of health and well-being for people who enjoy it, as recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), which is why painting and other artistic disciplines, such as music, are increasingly playing a greater role in hospitals.

In this case, the beneficiaries of Buenafuente’s paintings are polytrauma patients who have undergone knee, hip, and other musculoskeletal prosthesis surgeries, as well as those who have suffered acquired brain damage such as strokes or head traumas, who are recovering at Vall d’Hebron and will now be able to do so in a more beautiful, welcoming, and warm space.

“Being able to give color to people who are recovering is the best commission I have ever received”, Buenafuente confessed on Tuesday.

This artistic work has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the La Caixa Foundation and the companies Diagnóstica Longwood, AC Consultores, and Certest.
