VIASURE Bacterial & Fungal NGS Solution

VIASURE Bacterial & Fungal NGS Solution is a comprehensive solution for both NGS library preparation and subsequent bioinformatic analysis. It is specifically designed for profiling bacterial and fungal communities from DNA extracted from any type of sample. The solution targets three variable regions (V1–V3) of the bacterial 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene and the ITS2 region of the fungal ITS rRNA gene, allowing for a broad and accurate characterization of microbial populations.

DNA is extracted from samples or cultures and undergoes simultaneous target enrichment and indexing via PCR using unique barcodes and sequencing adapters required for downstream analysis. The kit supports the multiplexing of up to 48 samples in a single sequencing run. For optimal results, each library should receive approximately 150,000 paired-end reads. Sequencing is recommended using a 2×300 bp paired-end configuration.
