VIASURE 16S V1-V4 NGS Solution

VIASURE 16S V1–V4 NGS Solution is a comprehensive solution for both NGS library preparation and downstream bioinformatic analysis. This non-automated kit is specifically designed for bacterial composition profiling based on DNA extracted from any type of biological sample or culture. It targets four variable regions (V1–V4) of the 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene, enabling a detailed characterization of microbial communities.

During the process, DNA is extracted and simultaneously subjected to target enrichment and indexing via PCR, using unique barcodes and sequencing adapters required for downstream analysis. The kit allows for the multiplexing of up to 48 samples in a single sequencing run. For optimal results, each library should obtain approximately 150,000 paired-end reads. Sequencing is recommended using a 2×300 bp paired-end configuration.
