VIASURE Colour Compensation Kit is designed for generating a Colour Compensation File on the Real-Time PCR cyclers Light Cycler® 480 I/ II and Cobas z480 Analyzer (Roche). This test is intended for use as a calibrator method to compensate the bleed-over fluorescence (crosstalk phenomenon) to guarantee a proper interpretation of multiplex assays results.

Multiplex Real Time PCR assays allow the simultaneously amplification and detection of two or more different targets in each PCR reaction, saving time and sample volume in comparison to monoplex assays. As a consequence, the emission spectra of the different dyes can overlap and cause the “crosstak” effect. In this phenomenon the fluorescence signals from a dye are collected in adjacent channels, leading to false positive results.

VIASURE Colour Compensation Kit contains in each well all the components in a stabilized format (specific primers/probes, dNTPS, buffer, enzymes) necessary for running eight different replicate singleplex Real Time PCR reactions.
