VIASURE Toxoplasma gondii Real Time PCR Detection Kit is a real time qPCR test designed for the qualitativedetection of DNA from Toxoplasma gondii in EDTA-whole blood, serum, amniotic fluid and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples.

This test is intended to be used as an aid in the identification of Toxoplasma gondii in combination with clinical and epidemiological risk factors.

DNA is extracted from human samples, amplified using real time PCR and detected using fluorescent reporter dye probes specific for Toxoplasma gondii.
