VIASURE Oropouche Virus Real Time PCR Detection Reagents RUO is a RT-qPCR test designed for the specific qualitative detection of RNA from Oropouche virus in human samples. The isolated RNA target is transcribed generating complementary DNA by reverse transcriptase which is followed by the amplification of a conserved region of the N gene (nucleocapsid protein-coding gene) of Oropouche virus, using specific primers and fluorescent-labelled probes.

VIASURE Oropouche Virus Real Time PCR Detection Reagents RUO contains all the components necessary for real time PCR assay (specific primers/probes, dNTPs, buffer, polymerase and retrotranscriptase) in a stabilized format, as well as an internal or extraction control to verify the correct functioning of the amplification mix.
