VIASURE Sapovirus, Astrovirus & Rotavirus Real Time PCR Detection Reagents RUO is designed for the simultaneous qualitative detection and/or differentiation of RNA from Sapovirus, Astrovirus and Rotavirus in stool clinical samples. The detection is a one-step real-time RT-PCR format where the reverse transcription and the subsequent amplification of the specific targeted sequence occur in the same reaction well. The isolated RNA target is transcribed generating complementary DNA by reverse transcriptase, which is followed by the amplification of a conserved region of the ORF1 gene (Sapovirus), ORF1b gene (Astrovirus) and VP7 gene (Rotavirus) using specific primers and a fluorescent-labelled probe.
