VIASURE Respiratory Panel VII Real Time PCR Detection Kit is a non-automatized RT-qPCR test designed for the simultaneous qualitative identification and differentiation of RNA/DNA from human Adenovirus (AdV), Metapneumovirus (MPV) and/or Bocavirus (BoV); Coronavirus (CoV) 229E, NL63, OC43 and/or HKU1 strains; SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A (Flu A), Influenza B (Flu B) and Human Respiratory Syncytial Virus A (RSV A) and B (RSV B); Influenza A H1N1pdm09, Influenza A H3N2, Influenza A H5N1 and Influenza A H7N9 subtypes; Parainfluenza 1 (PIV-1), Parainfluenza 2 (PIV-2), Parainfluenza 3 (PIV-3) and/or Parainfluenza 4 (PIV-4) and human rhinovirus (HRV) and/or human enterovirus (HEV) in human samples. After DNA isolation, the identification of ADV and/or BOV, is performed by the amplification of a conserved region of specific genes using specific primers and fluorescent–labelled probes. After RNA isolation, the detection of RNA viruses MPV , CoV 229E, NL63, OC43 and/or HKU1 strains, SARS-CoV-2, Flu A, Flu B, RSV A and RSV B, Flu A H1N1pdm09, Flu A H3N2, Flu A H5N1 and Flu A H7N9 virus, Parainfluenzas viruses (PIV-1, PIV-2, PIV-3 and PIV-4), HRV, and/or HEV is done in one step real time RT format where the reverse transcription and the subsequent amplification of specific target sequence occur in the same reaction well. The isolated RNA target is transcribed generating complementary DNA by reverse transcriptase which is followed by the amplification of a conserved region of specific genes using specific primers and a fluorescent–labelled probes.

VIASURE Respiratory Panel VII Real Time PCR Detection Reagents RUO contains in each well all the components necessary for real time PCR assay (specific primers/probes, dNTPS, buffer, polymerase, retrotranscriptase) in a stabilized format, as well as an internal control to monitor PCR inhibition (if present). Each DNA/RNA targets are amplified and detected in specific channels (FAM, HEX, ROX, and/or Cy5) and the internal control (IC) . VIASURE Respiratory Panel VII Real Time PCR Detection Reagents RUO is a product composed of 8 different multiplex reaction for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of the nucleic acids of Adenovirus (ADV), Metapneumovirus (MPV), Bocavirus (BOV), Coronavirus 229E, NL63, OC43 and HKU1, SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A (Flu A), Influenza B (Flu B), Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV A and B), the detection and differentiation of Influenza A H1N1pdm09, Influenza A H3N2, Influenza A H5N1 and Influenza A H7N9 virus, Human Parainfluenza viruses 1, 2, 3 and 4 (PIV-1, PIV-2, PIV-3 and PIV-4), Human Rhinovirus (HRV) and Human Enterovirus (HEV).
