En la actualidad, la compa\u00f1\u00eda est\u00e1 inmersa en un proceso de evoluci\u00f3n y transici\u00f3n al sector biofarmac\u00e9utico con el desarrollo de nuevos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n que combinan varias disciplinas cient\u00edficas como biotecnolog\u00eda, bioinform\u00e1tica, qu\u00edmica, bioqu\u00edmica o nanotecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dos de los proyectos que se est\u00e1n llevando a cabo cuentan con el apoyo del Gobierno de Arag\u00f3n mediante la l\u00ednea de ayudas para proyectos de I+D vinculados al sector farmac\u00e9utico convocadas <\/strong><strong>por el Departamento de Econom\u00eda, Planificaci\u00f3n y Empleo.<\/strong> Estas ayudas, en r\u00e9gimen de concurrencia competitiva, tienen el objetivo de aumentar la competitividad de las empresas a trav\u00e9s de la generaci\u00f3n e incorporaci\u00f3n de conocimientos, tecnolog\u00edas e innovaciones destinadas a la creaci\u00f3n de productos y servicios tecnol\u00f3gicamente avanzados y de mayor valor a\u00f1adido.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-23507 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"430\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1-200x191.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1-300x287.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1-400x383.jpg 400w, https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1-600x574.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1-768x735.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1-800x765.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1-1024x979.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.certest.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/img-1.jpg 1173w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 449px) 100vw, 449px\" \/><br \/>\nEl proyecto \u201cNuevas tecnolog\u00edas para el dise\u00f1o y obtenci\u00f3n de vacunas de ARN en Arag\u00f3n\u201d, puesto en marcha a finales de 2021 con un presupuesto de m\u00e1s de 2,5 millones de euros y una duraci\u00f3n de dos a\u00f1os, ha permitido el desarrollo e implantaci\u00f3n de una tecnolog\u00eda para dise\u00f1ar, evaluar y producir vacunas propias de ARN mensajero (ARNm). Esta tecnolog\u00eda emplea el ARNm como principio activo de la vacuna, el cual se traduce en el organismo para crear la prote\u00edna que induce la respuesta inmune. No obstante, la formulaci\u00f3n de la vacuna es un proceso complejo en el que intervienen otros componentes, como son excipientes y l\u00edpidos. Las vacunas de ARN mensajero han sido de gran relevancia en la lucha contra la pandemia provocada por la COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El proyecto es pionero en nuestra comunidad y en Espa\u00f1a, y est\u00e1 permitiendo establecer una plataforma completa sobre la que plantear, de principio a fin, el desarrollo de nuevas vacunas <\/strong><strong>frente a enfermedades infecciosas tanto humanas como animales y tambi\u00e9n para la inmunoterapia de distintos tipos de c\u00e1ncer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A finales de 2022 Certest puso en marcha el proyecto \u201cDise\u00f1o y desarrollo de una plataforma de medicina con enfoque 5P (predictiva, preventiva, personalizada, participativa y poblacional) mediante secuenciaci\u00f3n masiva (NGS)\u201d, con un presupuesto de m\u00e1s de 1.5 millones de euros. En este caso, el proyecto liderado por Certest cuenta con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la empresa LevProt Bioscience, situada en Calatayud, y dedicada a la expresi\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas recombinantes en levaduras.<\/p>\n<p>La tecnolog\u00eda NGS o Next Generation Sequencing ha supuesto grandes avances en el diagn\u00f3stico de enfermedades, la oncolog\u00eda de precisi\u00f3n o estrategias terap\u00e9uticas basadas en an\u00e1lisis gen\u00e9tico. Mediante esta tecnolog\u00eda se pueden conocer regiones extensas del genoma en una sola ronda de secuenciaci\u00f3n, frente a otras t\u00e9cnicas tradicionales que requieren un an\u00e1lisis fragmentado de genes. Con el \u00e9xito de este proyecto se lograr\u00e1 desarrollar una plataforma vers\u00e1til y flexible de medicina personalizada, que englobe desde el procesamiento de la muestra hasta la interpretaci\u00f3n de los resultados, permitiendo ofrecer un diagn\u00f3stico, pron\u00f3stico y\/o terapia al paciente con enfoque 5P.
